OUR WORLD IS CHANGED!

Much of what we knew and believed no longer makes sense or works in the world that is emerging.

   Can we find solutions?

Our transition to the 'new' economy may well be inspired and led by traditional Indigenous values and Nature itself.

1Earth Institute is pioneering a unique opportunity to experience such deep collaboration in a safe space.

Cross-Cultural Dialogue Circle

VOICE OF THE EARTH

October 28th & 29th 2017

(+ Introductory Session, October 26th)

Santa Fe, NM

Dialogue circles are places where we can explore assumptions, perspectives and beliefs that no longer serve us and allow the space for fresh and original insights to emerge. Voice of the Earth is a cross-cultural circle led by two outstanding dialogue leaders, - one Indigenous, one a local well-known author.

Mamo Calixto Suarez Villafane, an elder (Mamo) from the Sierra in Colombia and Glenn Aparicio Parry, PhD, the author of the seminal book on dialogue circles “Original Thinking’.

Dr. Parry is one of the most experienced leaders of such inter-cultural dialogues, and together with Mamo Calixto's deep cultural and spiritual training, they make a superb team to guide these circles.

Our world views are beliefs that were learnt and chosen.

We can adjust or un-choose, for example:

Like every species on this earth, we must abide by the rules of the ecosystem that sustains us.

These laws and feedback cycles have not been suspended on our behalf.

We won't survive on our own, not without bringing along with us our survival 'kit' - the natural environment.

Many of the solutions come from Nature itself, we now understand, as advances in biomimicry and natural service systems are leading the way.

Who are the Mamos?

Mamo Calixto is an Arhuaco Elder from the Sierra in Colombia, and an emissiary of the Mamos Majores (Chief Elders).

The Mamos have an energetic spiritual elevation amongst their peoples, - they are the spiritual leaders of the community that act as doctors, psychologists, priests and/or judges. Since a very early age they are taught to perceive the vıbration and energy of all natural beings.

For that the Mamos don’t manifest themselves as wise men, healers or curanderos.

"We are harmonizers and guidance counselors to maintain the fundamental principles of any culture of our planet."
